We put the Welsh rarebit together for lunch today, and while we are trying to watch our fat intake, this dish was superb! Pour yourself a riesling, or chardonnay, slip a taste of the rarebit in your mouth, close your eyes and you are in Paris...for the first time, or once again.
You made some nice pages. Sometimes the rarebit has been changed due to dialect or accents, I don't know which, to Welsh Rabbit. I would never have thought the french would serve such a peasant meal!
