Jim, both of these are really nice. I like this one for it's feeling of a quick sketch (loose and easy). I like the last one because you did capture, so well, the far off look in her eyes!
They are all good sketches!!! Come on!!!:-) Wish I had your mastery, I just doodle my life away... LOL -- But I don't live from my art, God forbid!, I would be long dead from starvation!
I LOVE this! So summery!
ReplyDeleteReally cool! I like both of your portraits, they each have certain qualities depending on your mood. I like them both!

ReplyDeleteYour simple line work is amazing! I just found your blog. I'll be back often and I've added you to my blogroll.
ReplyDeleteVery nice work!
This one and your self portrait are great examples of simple lines and color getting the essence of a subject.
Something I struggle with and am researching.
Keep it up!!!
I like this one so much -- so fast and, yes, it feels like you got the essence!

ReplyDeleteI love this sketch - fresh and simple
ReplyDeleteI like the fluid, organic nature of the lines, and the integrity of the medium (watercolor). Very nicely done, very natural. Bravo.
