"St. Francis in Stone"

I spotted St. Francis in a garden shop today. Cold and frozen in a stone-like substance, standing alone, I could only feel sorrow for him. I figured the least I could do was try to give a little more life than what he had standing there amongst the petunias. Poor guy. He's in bad need of some reinvention found at Illustration Friday this week.

  4. if you're going to take anyone home, st francis is a great choice! much better than a plastic flamingo! (although you might want to consider one to keep frank company!) great illo!
