While watching television a few nights ago, I took out my sketch book and started playing with something for our Christmas cards this year.
This is the tenth year in a row I have created something for the cards and every one of those years it has been a challenge to "come up with something." (See them all here.) But this time, it only took a few minutes.
If I were to do this again, or create something less "sketchy" for the card, I would have added a sign carried by one of the snowmen, saying, "Occupy Christmas."
Merry Christmas everyone, and have a Happy New Year, too!!!
Excellent idea, and though the sign would have been nice, it so well done. In fact, without the sign you see all the snowmen, don't know what it is about and are surprised when you open the card and it says "Occupy Christmas" etc. So I think it is great just like it is.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Dan. The element of surprise will be an added delight. Your idea is so clever and well executed!
ReplyDeleteThey do look like they're ready to take over and occupy Christmas. But if they did, Christmas would be in very good hands (aka sticks). It's a great sketch for the Christmas card!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I'm also with Dan - the message inside is perfect! nancy
ReplyDeleteI love it as it is! Great job!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea Jim, Merry Christmas to you too!
ReplyDeleteCute. I was at a performance of A Christmas Carol. Some of the characters came out with Occupy London signs.
ReplyDeleteLovely card! =) Merry Christmas to you too Jim
