"Ice Harbor Brewery"

I had about an hour to kill while downtown today between hanging an art show and helping to hang another, so I drove down by the tracks to this old, ice-house-turned-microbrewery, parked catywampous in the parking lot, and sketched it out.

  1. If I could do this in an hour, I would be totally ecstatic! This is a great sketch!!

  2. I do like this - it has a sort of luminous quality.

  3. Gorgeous sketch Jim! I was drawing a house today just to remember how much I dread doing so =) I like the high contrasts of your work as always!

  4. Beautiful sketch! I work at Ice Harbor Brewing Co. I'm the merchandiser there. The proud owners are Mike Hall ad Bill Janquish. I thought I'd just let you know that the builing is the old grain elevator, the ice house sits on the corner of Washington St. and Railroad Dr. and is still the icehouse owned by the Shupe's.
