Sketchbook Project #30: Aidan

Aidan is only six years old, so it's easy to see a too long nose and a too strong chin make him look considerably older, especially if you know him like I do.

He was sitting with his siblings at McD's the other day and that blue and white striped stocking cap and the way it was casting that shadow over his eyes caught my attention.

So, though once again, I have created an image that doesn't look exactly like it's insiration, I don't really care. I had a lot of fun on this one and that's why I'm posting it here on 1-1-11.

watercolor, ink, moleskine, 4x6
