"Published in 'Costco Today' Magazine"

Costco contacted me a few months ago requesting permission for them to use this photo in their employee magazine, "Costco Today". I received three copies of the magazine today and found the image under the "humor" column toward the back of the October issue.

Original title and caption:

"Groovin' at Costco for a Polish."

"Dropped into Costco today for lunch: Polish and Coke - $1.50 + tax. One of the best hot dogs in town and the price is perfecto. The gal in the middle ate two large pieces of pizza and finished off her lunch with a hot dog the size of the one I ate.

Tri-Cities, WA."

  11. Congratulations! I'm not sure where the humor comes in but glad they liked it enough to publish. I'm like Winna, keep drawing different areas and maybe they'll make you a resident artist!

  14. I finally got my Costco Connections magazine this week...and was disappointed that it didn't have your drawing in it. I completely forgot that my membership lapsed for about a month and therefore I probably didn't get that issue. So disappointed! But, congratulations!
