"Starbucks in Walla Walla"

My drawing buddy, lapoynte, and I, drove to Walla Walla today to capture more of the architectural splendor there.

This is the busiest corner in town where it seemed while I sat and sketched most everyone driving through yelled something to someone they apparently knew who was in the crosswalk, or standing on the corner.

Starbucks seems to own the corner, and across the street to the left is the "die Brucke" building which can be viewed in the posting just below this one.

  2. Your washes are great as well as the drawings of the buildings. We were there last year. The place was loaded with college students with their computers. Great atmosphere.

  7. You have a wonderful spontaneous, energetic style to your art. I am going to be visiting often! Thanks for your nice comments on my own blog. I'm just getting hooked on the pen and ink sketch, and I am mustering my courage to try adding some paint!

  9. I found you through the Blog Hop. Your sketches are wonderful and I'm envious that you can sit and do these things. The watercolors are great. I can't wait to see more.
