I think most clowns are not very happy people (my father was a clown - yes, a real clown with giant shoes and all ... he was not a happy person). Your portrait has captured the dichotomy of clowns perfectly! nancy
I found this clown lurking around online, so I captured him and his image with some graphite, ink, and watercolor.
Love those hearts on his cheeks to turn tears into joyful ones---he's done so well--with such talent !
