"Nancy's Place"

We went out to Nancy's today to do some drawing, sketching, and painting. Her home overlooks the Columbia river, to the left of this sketch, from a high hill.

The view is Spectacular and includes many of the atomic reactor sites west, across the river, on the Hanford site.

The large "do-nut" object is a piece of art she had done just for this particular spot. It is about six feet tall and rotates. Cool, huh?

  1. Yes, the donut is pretty cool! So is your drawing.

  2. I loved visiting that area. Wish I could have sketched with you all!

  3. Beautiful drawing! Can only just imagine how gorgeous the house setting must be.

  4. Awesome sketch! Love the contrasts and the style overall =)
