Godspeed Mr. Bush

Godspeed Mr. Bush

It's far from a perfect depiction, but it's the best I could do with the time constraint (at least I have a good excuse). Love him or hate him, he kept the country safe since 9/11/01; he made decisions based on what he thought was good for the country, right or wrong and without concern as to how the pollsters, and those he worked to protect, might view his decisions. History might just be rather kind to this most challenged of presidents since FDR and Abraham Lincoln. Godspeed Mr. Bush.

  1. I think you got aspects of him down :) It was kind of short time to do it in ;)
I seriously thought about it, but opted for another goodbye, figuring I'd draw the President next week :) as he leaves office :)

  2. I like your post. Mr. Bush will be considered one of our greatest Presidents (whether we like it or not) because he kept the country secure after the 911 tragedy. We, in this country are so quick to constantly criticize. We need to back our new President but light a fire under our very LAME Congress. Presidents get the blame when Congress fails.

  3. Great post. President Bush has faced tougher challenges than most and did not back down. A great man.
