Elephant

I found this elephant online today.

The picture was taken in 1948 at a circus, somewhere, and I sorta felt sorry for her.

I've never taken well to animals being caged in circuses and zoos. They always seem pretty sad and lifeless there.

Even as a kid I thought they should be left in their native habitat, and protected from the people who would harm them.

I hope she's resting in peace.
