There's nothing quite like waking in the morning to the odors of freshly brewed coffee wafting through the house. I set the pot up before bed, set the timer for hopefully before I wake up; and awake every morning to heaven on earth.One my greatest joys each day is coffee in the morning with the morning news, while sitting in my easy chair with nothing but the sounds of silence permeating the room.
Danny Gregory's podcasts are very interesting. These conversations have led me to trying to loosen up a bit with ink, then colors. It's fun, enjoyable as hell, and I think I like this one.

ReplyDeleteI can see the Danny influence here. Waking up to the smell of coffee isn't something I'd enjoy, but I love your drawing - especially the way you've captured that transparency, and the coffee itself, in an apparently very simple way.
