EDM #95: Holiday Post

I've been creating our Christmas card for the last four or five years, and couldn't resist posting to the EDM Challenge for this week with one of them. We moved into a new home in November of '03, from an across state move and the house was totally disorganized: most of our 'stuff' was still in boxes. But Christmas was here, so my wife started decorating before the dishes were unpacked (well, all of them anyway). I came home from work one day and saw our platoon of nutcrackers sitting across the top of the entertainment center, and knew then our card would be about them.

  1. Hi Jim;

    I haven't visited your Blog for quite a while. But you've certainly been busy!The Christmas card is perfect, one that would grace any Fireplace Mantel. And your glass cat, - yes it's definitely a cat! - is superbly drawn! I love that drawing in particular! (I love cats...period. But my Hubby is allergic to them ...sigh..)

    Hope you have a Happy Holiday!

  2. Jim, Thisis a wonderful Christmas card - very colorful and Chritmassy but it doesn't take itself too seriously. Just the kind I enjoy receiving.
