"Joe Guitar"

This isn't a sketch so much as it's a watercolor painting I did a few years ago, and I want to share with the EDMG'ers for the Musical Instrument challenge this week. I met Joe at the annual Lavender Festival in Sequim, Washington, a few years ago. He writes his own music and it created the perfect ambience that warm, sun-filled day in summer with tourists exploriong the farms and the fragrance of lavendar filling the air.

(My apologies if this sounds like I'm a member of the Chamber of Commerce, I'm not. . . we don't even live in Sequim anymore.)

  7. Jim, I love this one! I don't know what is my favorite thing about it -- the use of color, the beautiful wash background, or just the picture itself!
