EDM #12: Draw What You Had For Dinner
Tonight we have pizza for dinner. For over the past 20 years it's usually been pepperoni because that was the only kind my son would eat. He's left the nest now, so maybe I can start having those big, heavy, thick combos with EVERYTHING on them. This for the EDMG.

For most of my adult life I have been on a quest for the perfect pizza. It's been a difficult one. I''m a purest - no toppings, very thin crust, when you hold it in your hand the oil should drip down your wrist and the left overs in the box leave a stain on your car's backseat. Now that's pizza. But this one comes pretty close ;>

ReplyDeleteJaney, you are so on target with regards to the oil dripping down one's hand and arm. DITTO! Ah, finding the perfect pizza, yes, a lifetime project for this household too. I think we'll just enjoy Jim's perfect hand drawn pie and continue in our unending quest for the perfect edible version. ;)

Nice pizza! You caught the look of browned crust and cooked cheese just right, and the pepperonis even look like their edges are curled up just slightly -- as it should be!
ReplyDeleteYou Americans have such strange ideas about pizza! Oil dripping down and a thin crust is a pizza nightmare in my books! At 'mule-central' we've been making our own pizza dough lately and I think we're finally getting good at it.
