"Red Flowers in Round-bottomed Vase"

A bouquet of red flowers, and one of my favorite paintings, popped off my brush earlier today and into this vase that seems to have been fired and glazed in a potter's kiln.

I'm thinking these flowers love the sun and will stretch toward any close window to capture as much of it as possible.

The are bright, cheerful and happy to be here!

  1. I really like how you painted the pot. It really does look like it was fired! nancy

  2. Bright and sunny, love the colors in the pot!

  3. Gotta love the colors! The flowers do look happy in this one ^^

  4. Love the shadows and colors in the pot. Also, the color in the flowers just pops. Good work.

  5. I like this alot! And the coffee cup above it. Really liking your new style.
