"Bouquet in Red Vase"

Number 3 in the series of "Fifth Grade Art." From the last one I learned not to try to overlay light colors over dark ones because acrylics do have some degree of translucency that I wasn't expecting. With this one I learned I need to do some investigating regarding color schemes.

What I did was declare "red" as the primary color and went for the greens and blues on the opposite of the color wheel for the background. Mmmmmm, maybe not...
