I agree he is too cute not to post, and the dodgy headlight makes him look cheeky!
ReplyDeleteAgree - great sketch/painting and I'm not sure that I would have focused on the headlight. There is a certain amount of wonkiness that makes our work so much more personal. Wish I could remember that when I'm being hypercritical of my drawings.
ReplyDeleteI think it looks fine, gives the old car character... perhaps there was an accident, or maybe a rust spot that caused the droop of one... or it's "Creative License" and exactly what you planned... I LOVE it.

ReplyDeleteAs a kid I had this book of car illustrations. Mostly cars from the beginning up to the 40s. This drawing very much makes me think of that book. Fond memory.
