Abe in Print

Somewhere online I found where someone had done some sketching on an open page from a book. I thought it was pretty cool the way the text somehow kinda enhanced the sketch and wanted to give it a try. First I thought, well, I need to go to one of those library book sales and buy an old, kinda yellow-paged book, but then I found this book on my shelves. It isn't all that old, and the pages aren't yellowed, yet, but it's a book I've had for years and I know I'm not gonna read it, "Emotional Intelligence," by Daniel Goldman. Sorry, Dan.

So what I've decided to do is sketch only on the right-hand side on those pages that are full with text. This is, I think rather obviously, though not perfectly, our 16th president, Abe Lincoln. I thought how interesting to put his image on a page titled at the top, "Aristotle."

Hope you enjoy it.
