Renae Williams-Favor and I drove up to Spokane last Saturday to meet up with Don Wall, Spokane Sketcher, and Urban Sketcher, Don Colley. Colley was presenting a demonstration of his sketchbooks, materials and techniques at the Spokane Art Supply on Monroe.
We had a great time visiting with Colley and afterwards, joined Don Wall for lunch. Then we went over to Riverfront Park and did a bit of sketching.
This is my entry into the collection of three sketches we did. It is the carousel which sits on the south side of the river which splits the park, as it is nestled against the backdrop of downtown buildings.
