"Sketching in Seattle"

August 18, 2013:  Seattle Sketchers Sketch the Seattle Wharf and Alaskan Way Viaduct.

August 17th I drove across state to visit with a friend I went to high school with, and his wife.  They live in Lacey, which seems to be some sort of suburb of the state capitol, Olympia, WA.  We had a great time eating Thai food and watching a pre-season Seahawk game together.

On Sunday morning I drove on up to Seattle to join up with the Seattle Sketchers on one of their outings featuring the Seattle Waterfront and Alaskan Way Viaduct.  It was fun to visit with some of the folks I met there in June at the "Line and Color" workshop as well as Frank Ching, one of the instructors of the workshop.
